About the Project
Elane Town is an atmospheric 3D environment piece that captures the essence of morning tranquility in an urban setting. The project was inspired by the beautiful 2D artwork of Fei Giap, translating that unique mood and color palette into a fully realized 3D scene. Every element was carefully crafted to maintain that dreamy, cool morning atmosphere that makes the original artwork so captivating.
Challenge
Translating the unique 2D artistic style of Fei Giap into 3D while maintaining the mood, atmosphere, and emotional impact of the original concept art.
Solution
Developed a custom color grading workflow and carefully controlled lighting to replicate the cool morning tones. Used volumetric fog and atmospheric effects to create depth and that characteristic hazy morning feeling.
Outcome
The project successfully captures the essence of the original artwork in 3D form and has been well-received on ArtStation and Behance, demonstrating the ability to interpret and expand upon concept art.
